I know what you're thinking. No, I'm not talking about what happens between NYY and Tenny in the backseat at highway rest stops. We already have plenty of threads dedicated to that and many more to come, I'm sure.

I'm talking grilling. With this unseasonably warm weather, my grill has seen its first action in months. Have slayed some bbq salmon as well as those pre-marinated chicken breasts from Food City. Cheating? Maybe. Delicious? Heck ya. So what's on your grill? For me, it doesn't get much better than grilling cheeseburgers and drinking a cold beer on a beautiful day. I'm still a pretty novice griller. Aficionados may scoff at my Sears gas grill, but I love it. So feel free to throw in any tricks of the trade. Here's to warm weather, and here's to meat cooked over fire.

Your Sears gas grill is better than the electric I inherited from somebody who used to live here. Picked up a quart of Ridgewood BBQ sauce, which is delicious on burgers. Wondering if I can find bison somewhere. It's leaner than beef and just as tasty (possibly tastier), just as long as you don't overcook it.

I grill a lot of different stuff. Steaks are eaten about once a week.

Deer tenderloin, bison or buffalo (don't know the technical term) wild turkey breasts, doves, duck and geese depending on season too.

Cheeseburgers are done quite a bit in the summer too.

Tuna fillets seared on both sides for about 45 seconds each are pretty good too

Thread title is equal parts misleading and disappointing.

Figured this thread would be up your alley, jg. I've never eaten anything I've killed. I need to. Just never hunted before.

Wild turkey is probably the best. The worst is geese. You have to figure out a way to cover up the taste of geese

Deer loins, wrapped in bacon and marinated in a little soy/garlic/salt/ black pepper

    Win every time

Uh, that's my homepage, so there is no "returning" to that, thank you.

Jerk chicken. I had a Jamaican roommate for a year in college and he taught me the secrets.

The elements and stuff on the inside of my gas grill bit the dust. I converted it to charcoal.

My wild turkey goes on the smoker. I don't even eat store bought turkey anymore.

Tried a squirrel one time. That didn't work out.

    They're better in dumplins.
