I think that was the worst swing I have ever seen. Verlander about broke dudes wrists with that 12-6 curve ball Edit. Replay and it was not the big curve but some kind of changeup
Going to be a big bidding war for Harper and Trout. Yanks, Sox and don't count out the Phillies. Big tv contract just signed and Philly has money hand over fist right now. And they're allegedly going to be big time buyers.
I wasn’t his biggest fan, but he did a good enough job. There really isn’t. It’ll be interesting to see what they do
I've already said that if I am the Reds I have already fired Bryan Price and called Girardi to hammer out the deets.
Absolutely! After the shit show of the last 5 years it would be nice to have someone standing on the steps who could at least spell b-a-s-e-b-a-l-l.
No idea how you fire a guy who takes a young team ahead of schedule to the 7th game of the LCS. He made a managerial mistake handling his pitchers in the DS but the team bailed him out of that. Don't remember another mistake that he made. Prolly should have had someone up earlier in the pen to save Sabathia but I don't see that as a big mistake.
Majority of managerial decisions are made with your gut. You win some, you lose some. Playoff baseball magnifies it. He took this team to heights they should have never been. This team was at minimum two years away.
