    TiVo is definitely a good thing. Receiver fees stop me in my tracks every time I consider getting cable again. Suddenly that $60 plan becomes twice that once I add on three receivers and taxes. It’s just insane, especially when you consider that those receivers were getting old before Fulmer was fired in many areas. I think they’ve recouped their investment there.... PlayStation Vue is what I use during football and basketball season.

    Some switch that dealt with local stations went bad. I paid monthly for the repair service. Called them to come fix it. They told me it would be a month before anyone could come fix it, and they scheduled a repair. Hung up. Called Direct. They were here to install their system at 7:30 am the next morning. As soon as Direct was up & running, I called & cancelled. When asked why, I told them I refused to pay for some of the shittiest customer service I had ever received.
