An Answer To The Point Guard Question Presents Itself(Sort Of).

T.J. McConnell is transferring from Duquesne. If Coach Martin and the staff don't at least do some due diligence, it's coaching malpractice.

 

When would he be eligible to play?

 

He'd have to sit a year. If you are able to sign Fabyon Harris, or JUCO of similar talent, it works out perfectly. You'd actually have two competent points for '13-'14. That's two more than UT has had since CJ Watson used up his eligibility.

 

I've heard some good things regarding the staff and Harris. TJ would be a HUGE pickup. I hope the staff gets on this.

 

Any word at all yet who is in on McConnell or who he is interested in?

 

McConnell, Harris, Landry, and Golden all on the roster in 2013? I guess you RS Landry and move Golden to the wing permanently?

 

Goodness, talk about a best case possible scenario.

 

I didn't realize the guy from Clemson can play in January. Makes me a bit more optimistic.

 

That optimism will last until you see him play.

Is he that bad? I remember him in high school, he was a bad and but he wasn't exactly playing top notch competition. I thought he may be good for 10 minutes a game here

 

Just saw where Harris went A&M a few days ago...

 

Bys bye Stanton. Heard it was a scholly issue...

Seems like a waste of everyone's time if Stanton was only ever going to play if he was on scholarship.
