And now a single guy, which is what he should've been all along. Don't know why these insanely wealthy young guys who travel 250 days a year think it's a good idea to get married.

If he likes the porn stars, I can't fault him for it. We should all be so lucky.

I don't either, but he did marry a Swedish model who has a twin so that might explain it.

Yeah, it's not like Hank Haney is trying to sell his book or anything. No athlete has ever had so many people so pathetically jealous of him. Face it, America. He's better than you. He's richer than you. He gets better looking women than your pathetic middle class asses will ever be allowed to even wait on in your job at Chili's. He could buy and sell your entire little cul de sac with what he spends on gassing up his private jets to go get seven figure checks for a day of golf in Dubai. Get the [uck fay] over it. Thus endeth the rant.

If this story was about Phil Mickelson or some other blubbery white slob golfer, everybody would be cheering.

Yeah, it's clearly a race thing.

Agree with JT, someone of his stature is better of staying single.

figjam is just as big of a piece. I fail to see what race has to do with this.

Yeah, just like race has nothing to do with the treatment of Barry Bonds in comparsion to Mark McGwire and how people approached Kobe Bryant's rape allegations compared to Ben Roethlisberger's. We're just a big ol' colorblind melting pot.

I support the unpopular yet honest assessment of our mainstream culture. Good post, strong work in this thread.

That paragraph is the single biggest piece of silliness posted here since this place started. The media and the public fell all over their fool selves to venerate Mark McGwire, who was a never a great player without chemical help, because he fit their image of what they wanted their stars to look and act like. Bonds, on the other hand, was ripped his whole career because he called idiots what they were and treated the fans as what they are, nothing more than [uck fay]ing customers.

Kobe Bryant was tried and convicted by the media by the time he arrived back in Los Angeles from Eagle, CO, despite the fact that even a cursory amount of reporting would have shown the accuser was an unstable freak job who had made multiple such allegations in the past. Roethlisberger, to make the comparison, immediately has sycophants babbling about how the incident happened in a bar and how that proved there was no way he was in the wrong.

If you think those two circumstances have nothing to do with race, good for you. I also have a dragon, a werewolf, and the Fountain of Youth to sell you.

Thank you. I used to get frustrated when people refused to acknowledge that the media and the public have two totally different standards for public figures based on race. Now, I just laugh my ass off and shake my head in bemusement.

Mainstream culture made Tiger Woods the most popular athlete in the world.
