What are our needs for this class?

What positions are critical? How should we evaluate this class, given the context?

 

I would say all of them. The narrative that Butch built some monster is way off. All the decent WRs could be gone after next year. One proven RB after next year. Not much on the DL or LB. Average DBs. QBs probably worst in the conference. Dude has his work cut out for him. Year 2 might actually be worse than year 1 for him.

 

DL has strong stuff at the top. Move TK to linebacker, but they still need help. DBs seem to be a need.

OL has a few pieces but needs a lot of help. QB is a need. RB is fine. WR, I don't know.

 

Doesn't Pruitt run a 3-4? Don't think Kelly can handle 3-4 OLB.

 

Doubt he will this year

 

Should probably just run a 3-2-4 this season. Not 11 guys worthy of suiting up.

 

We have a lot of needs, but we need offensive linemen, linebackers and defensive linemen desperately.

 

In all seriousness, he'll probably run a base Nickel as he transitions.

 

Need depth at DL for sure. Vickers is gone. McKenzie, Tuttle, Taylor, Kongbo, Phillips are about it. Although it's probably best to move Kongbo to linebacker and just let him run at the QB

 

And looking beyond, all those guys will be seniors, right?
