UCLA punt return I remember this like it was yesterday. The power went out that night at our house, didn't get to see the return live, but got to hear Jon Ward on the call.
2 fullbacks. We had a history of valuable fullbacks as long as I remember going back to the 70s. It seemed to stop when Butch Jones replaced the Metro sexual.
I think we were mostly hosting kids that either are committed or we'e committed. Think Emerson and Taylor were in town
A more traditional nfl style offense. There's going to be a lot of gun, but more two tight end stuff and under center won't be a 3 times a game sight
1. Where is our recruiting class ranked right now? 2. Of the Butch commits: Who will now likely look elsewhere, and who (if any) are we likely to let go in hopes of recruiting over? 3. Who are the top recruits on our board right now, and what are our chances with each? 4. Who wasn't on the radar with Butch, but will be targeted and likely sighed by this staff? 5. Complete this sentence: "If this staff lands *insert recruit names here*, they've done a fantastic job."
1. It's ranked in the 40s on Rivals 2. Linebackers and defensive backs will be the most likely cuts, due to defensive scheme change 3. Mays no idea, Taylor very good, he's trying to hold on to both qb commits 4. JJ Peterson olb, Jacob Copeland wr, Isaac Taylor-Stuart cb, Adam Anderson DE, Brenton Cox DT, Jordan Davis DE, a few JUCO ol and Jerome Carvin ol are a few 5. If he keeps one qb, Mays, Taylor and JJ Peterson and Copeland, he's done a great job. There's room for 10 or 11 guys to be added.
sounds like we have a shot at Davis now with Pruitt. He and Carvin would come to UT together, though I'm not sure about Carvin. Effort and fire remind me of Drew Richmond, which looks to always be going at 70% max effort.
