I hope they bring back something closer to the original stats and perks. I hated Fallout 4's dumbed down version.
Well, [uck fay]. Looks to be an online, multiplayer survival. That sucks. https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-rumored-to-be-an-online-survival-game/
A lot of people are really looking forward to Fallout Online. Why the disdain? Other than anti-social people like JQK.
My favorite types of games are long, mission based games with a good story that I can enjoy. I don’t mind online games, but I’ve always had a special enjoyment of games like the Witcher and Skyrim and Fallout. These types of games seem to be on their way out, so it’s sad to see another one take the step towards online play.
It just doesn't fit the series. If they want to make a post-apocalyptic, multiplayer, survival game, cool. More power to them. But it's not a Fallout game. They threw the Fallout branding on there to sell a few more copies of it.
Isn’t the main character in that one called the lone wanderer or something like that? Seems like lone was definitely in there. I don’t think I could handle it if they changed it to the accompanied wanderer.
I'm speaking of my teenage and young adult self (the me that enjoys/enjoyed these types of games). Obviously my parents read books to me as a young child. I don't think everything has to be "social." I had plenty of interaction with other people as a child through sports and other activities. I also learned how to be okay and comfortable with tending to certain tasks on my own. Heck, if anything, I'd say I'm better off than most. I know a number of people who constantly have to be doing something social in order to be happy. It's the same crowd that thinks any weekend where they aren't going out drinking sucks and can't put down their phones for more than a couple seconds because they might miss a tweet or a facebook quote. And when did I become a parent?
Growing into doesn’t mean “are.” Brotha, you’re reading socially right now. You’re bad at it; but you’re doing it.
