The Jeremy Pruitt show is quickly becoming must see TV for me. Bob: That was a great throw there coach!
I quit watching the coach's show a long time ago. I have started watching Pruitt hoping he chokes Bob
I just watch it online on Mondays at work while doing my stupid computer job. Makes me laugh. The thing is, I can almost predict what he is going to say. On our first TD against UTEP, our RB did a small spike with the football. I thought "That isn't good, he got lucky." Pruitt: Would like to see him hand the ball to the ref there. Bob: Is that what you want? You coach them to hand it to the ref? *inflection on ref like he is shocked* Pruitt: Well..keeps us from getting stupid penalties.
Going to have to go and watch the past shows now. Stopped watching these shortly after ddiapos came on.
Bob pumps sunshine and he is having none of it. I hate that they take what would be a normal play for most (i.e., 11 yard gain on a pass) and replay it 5 times like it is something extra special.
Same here, I had not watched a coaches show in years, probably since Kiffin was here. I've watched every one so far. I actually love watching him break it down and every time Kesling tries to talk up something positive hes still finding ways to coach off of it. Love it. No fluff with this guy. He does give credit where it is due though. He was positive where it was earned. And you have to do a little of that too. But overall he is not complacent whatsoever.
He just wants to coach. Gotta love that. And in all honesty, one of the biggest adjustments for him is going to be having to do the stupid BS that HCs have to do like this show. Talked to a guy this weekend who went to HS with Pruitt and has followed him everywhere he's been at previous stops. Said the guy could live in a film room and practically does. For every hour he's doing crap like this it's taking away what he actually wants to be doing and has done his entire career. And to top it off, he's stuck with Bob. He's in Hell.
His comments about looking for 11 guys doing the right thing on every play is exactly why this coaching staff makes me feel good. And it's damn refreshing.
We gotta keep this thing afloat the next few weeks, keep the recruits we have and show improvement after the gauntlet.
