Agree. Had some brilliant songs and a career that was too short. He has struggled with MS. That and he fell into the post-90's country abyss along with Travis Tritt and just about anyone else who was worth a damn.

 

Our respective ears for music have overlapping characteristics. Fast Car is too one of my all time favorites. Possibly a top ten ever song.

 

Nothing gets me like a female voice. And Clarkson has a great one.
