Da'Rick Rogers needs to take a lesson from Janzen Jackson and see what happens when you make repeated poor decisions. A year from now, he could be a first round draft pick out of Tennessee or a 4th round pick out of Georgia State. Let's hope he doesn't do anything stupid, both for his sake and for the sake of the team.
Other than future MVP Matt Simms, who are the UT possibilities? Austin Johnson, Tauren Poole, uh? Guess it was a small senior class.
Da'Rick doesn't have a substance abuse problem and he's a prototype NFL WR. If Malcolm Floyd is a top 15 pick with 2 DUIs, Da'Rick is too.
I'd be a bit worried about what Charlie Baggett says about him. Teams are going to call the NFL vet and ask about him. He is going to give Da'Rick's character the lowest possible rating.
The day he steps on campus they should make the base offense feature Hunter, Patterson, Rivera, and Clear. That would send a nice message.
You have a point. Til now however he hasn't had that guy you can send out there and you don't drop off and both DD and DR know this. Hunter going down last year and not really having that 3 guy to go to put all the lights on DR. When Bray went down it magnified. Patterson coming in and being what he is expected to be is nothing but good for business especially with DR.
I stopped following the draft. I assume JJ hasn't been drafted? I'd take a flyer on that guy. He is a really [dadgum] good football player.
