One thing we missed during the Butch years was player development. It’s been a breath of fresh air since Pruitt came along, watching players improve significantly leading into the season and as the season has progressed. Which player do you think has improved most significantly, either from last year to this year, or just over the course of this season? Who do you expect to see almost significant improvement out of from this year to next year?
Kyle Phillips would be my pick. I can only imagine what he could have been with coaching like this from the start.
Alontae Taylor and Bryce Thompson have improved from week 1, and I think that will continue over the next 2-3 years. Most improved this year is Guarantano. I feel like Jauan Jennings deserves a mention as well, he has been a more reliable target this year.
Kyle Phillips. Darrell Taylor. Alontae has the chance to be one of the best secondary guys to have ever played at UT.
Kid runs hard and likes contact. i love how even though TY is a smaller back, he gets low and thumps defenders too. We dont have any [ussy pay] footing rbs
That's what's great to see, almost every player with the exception of Richmond is getting better. I think the rest of the OL is trying hard they're just severely undersized. Hopefully another year under Fitz will help them to be more serviceable. They're likely going to be backups pretty soon though.
