Still some games to play so the rankings won’t be 100% accurate, but I used per game stats, so they should be very close. 2017 stats on left and 2018 on right. You could argue that Jim McElwain was an even worse coach than Butch Jones at this point. Florida had no business being only a 4 win team in 2017.
I almost give them a pass for that LSU game. We weren’t better than LSU, but the weather was so bad at times to have made the winner almost a random accident.
Why don't you just come to my house, use your doctor anatomy skills and just kick my nuts back up to their prepubescent areas?
Unacceptable. Pruitt better win that game next year. If not, he’ll lose what’s left of the true believers. I’m already down in him until he proves me wrong but losing to Vanderbilt is a bad omen.
The stadium has been less and less full each year. This year, Florida game probably had the most UT fans. Kentucky was awful, Missouri was worse. People aren't willing to put in the time and money to go to games. We will either turn a corner with Pruitt, or we are headed for celebrating the one off 8 win season. This is not a fun timeline.
If we end up doing the latter there, it’s time to seriously look at shuttering the program. Too much money being wasted on a shit poor product. UT has some of the nicest facilities in the country, it’s a damn shame they are being wasted on the product that’s been foisted off on us over the past decade. If Pruitt can’t get it turned around we’re never, ever going to be good (much less great ) again. An entire generation is passing us by knowing that Tennessee is an easy win in their favorite teams schedule... that same generation of potential recruits has no reason to entertain the thought of signing up to play here knowing that they’re never going to win anything of significance and that they’d be better off riding the bench at Alabama or Georgia or even Auburn or Florida than coming here and getting their shit pushed in by the likes of Vanderbilt.
