I'm not accustomed at all. I've never attended a Vandy game that we lost til tonite. Those Vandy fans around us didnt see it as that big of a deal.
And every TV in the football complex should play the stupid dance Mason did after the post game interview on a loop.
Every player on the team should have to wear a black and gold dildo around their neck (and not be able to cover it up) for the next 364 days. Everywhere. If they remove it (for ANY reason) they’re off the team.
UT had plenty of both to beat 2 rosters better than the one they got run over by tonite for a bowl game. Tonite wasnt about a talent gap or depth.
It's, at best, a push for talent this year because it's 80% of the same players and 20% newcomers, and add a lot of injuries. Not that you care to bring that into the equation. Losing Kelly was a big blow. The best DB got drafted and was replaced with a freshman. McKenzie? Gone. Elliott Berry? Gone. Cortez McDowell? Gone. Vickers? Gone. Robertson? Gone. Jack Jones? Gone. Good thing Jones recruited well in his later years to replace those guy. Oh, wait. More talented my ass.
Spoiler alert: other teams do the same type of routines throughout the year. UT is still at a significant gap when playing the other teams regardless of the time of year. It's going to take another offseason.
I would think it’s not a joke anymore. However, if you and I had a weightlifting competition and you had been working out diligently for four years and I’d never done it... I suppose you win. Now, let’s suppose you continue your routine and I start a weightlifting routine. We compete again in four months. Wouldn’t you expect the outcome to be closer? We got less physical from WVU to Vandy. I don’t think that’s on Butch’s S&C failures.
I think it is. Five years of shit for S&C isn't going to get fixed in one season. I think many don't fully comprehend the damage that 5 years of [itch bay] ball did to this program.
