I have absolutely no problem with reaching on someone who looks like a rising star in an assistant role. If he flames out, he’s easy to replace, and at some point, you have to trust that your coaches can evaluate coaching talent. That said, if we think Osovet is a rising star, I would’ve much rather made that reach last year than this year after already going through one coordinator.
If Osovet is the real deal than taking a position job this year and be the OC in waiting in 2-3 years would be great continuity and would mean Pruitt is succeeding. I like that scenario.
We don't have room on staff to promote Osovet unless we get rid of someone or promote Friend, correct?
