We're aware of some spamming that has went on of late - not by a member, but essentially by a hacking site - and are working to correct it now. While we don't anticipate that the process of discovery and correction should interrupt either your access or enjoyment(?) of the site, and will do all that we can to minimize or avoid it altogether, such may not be entirely possible (we may have to update some aspects of the site to close the vulnerability, refresh databases, etc.). So, if you notice the the site is temporarily unavailable, running slower than usual, or see a weird link to some porn or Viagra site (above and beyond those typically inserted by NYYVOL, Tiger, etc.) - please know that we're both aware and are working to correct it. Sorry for any inconvenience or consternation, in advance, but such could not be avoided. T
On that note, in the shitstorm thread KB started (hat's off to you, btw), anyone notice just how quickly golfballs' contemptuous post about this site got nuked along with Chavis' "rammer jammer spammer" post? All I did was quote the post, didn't highlight anything, and posted ruh-roh. All got nuked. Let's see if golfballs will re-enter the lion's den. I doubt he will. There's no mod referee here. Those guys remind me of high school kids that don't really want to fight, but don't want to look like a coward. Instead of meeting at a place where they can settle anything without interference, they start the fight in an area they know a teacher will stop it quickly (in front of the office or in the commons area) just in case they start getting their asses kicked.
