That excuse may have fallen a bit less flat with me had a congresswoman not just gotten railed against for being "anti semitic" when daring to question foreign policy concerning Israel. No one on the Right gave a shit what she said she meant or what her actual point was. Of course, she has repeatedly said she did not intend for her words to be interpreted that way. Whereas he says "so what, it's independent thought."
Oh please she wasn’t called “anti-Semitic” because of her criticism of Israel. She was called out because her statements played into well-worn anti-Semitic tropes about dual loyalty and Jews buying power and influence. There are plenty of people in this country, Jews included, who publicly disagree with Israeli foreign policy, and they don’t get labeled as anti-Semitic. Of course those people probably don’t believe that Israel has “hypnotized the world” or that it’s “all about the Benjamins.”
Probably, and which is just another piece of fallout from what many perceive to be political correctness run amok...you can say something actually sexist, and be cheered for it. I’m not saying it’s right, but it is true, IMO.
Agreed. One is plenty. I've always thought anyone juggling more than that was either insane or a massochist. Don't misunderstand me. My wife is awesome. That's all I need.
point of order: while not acceptable behavior, the door was not broken down. https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/16/media/tucker-carlson-cracked-door/index.html there is also video of the whole thing from outside, which shows that tweet to be a complete distortion of what happened. definitely criminal behavior, but not breaking down a door.
Not being a smartass at all. But doesn't he constantly throw stuff out, then claim he's not defending it? Here's a small sample: If what I claimed isn't accurate, show me. I'm not trying to stir shit here.
Honest question. Is it obsession, or is it the news media? I find myself reading crap about her just because she seemingly dominates news outlets' coverage across the spectrum, and I'm not all that interested in her.
