Yes, I think it would be a mistake to promise something that will likely never happen with the hopes of gaining an edge in the primary.

There isn't a single one of them that has a chance. I watched a clip of Beto the other day where he was asked a question and literally stared at the ground the entire time he answered. Like he spotted a twenty on the ground that nobody else did. Wasn't even the worst part, he sounded like he was high as a kite, made little sense at all. And he is the golden boy. Bless their bleeding little hearts.

    Talking reparations? Never gonna happen.

    They’ll nominate someone, I guess.

No, like the actual “Ignore” function, which is great.

They are going to have to go with Bernie. Really their only chance. An 80 year old millionaire socialist.

There exists a strong option, I'm telling you. And to quote a quasi-wise(ish) freak-a-zoid: Hide and watch.

Do you think that the Democrats are in a place to nominate a moderate that will appeal to rust belt democrats and republicans tired of Trump.

I have no pre-qualifications for a candidate on sex or race, so he’s alright as far as I’m concerned.

Just as long as he doesn’t move to my neighborhood. Unless he’s married to a Hispanic or black person. We already have enough Asians for now.

I'm really not sure what bothered you about me saying democrats campaigning on reparations is a bad idea, but fine.

That's the question. I'm not sure, but I do not for a second believe the leftmost portion of the party getting all the attention at present is representative of the Democratic population and certainly not independents.

There are two possible paths: either the smart elements of the party who understand what it will take to win over a cross-section of the electorate take charge or the American people force their hand. That's what happened in 2016 (GOP/national) and it can happen again. Not certain how likely, but entirely possible.

I guess his voice was going after a day on the trail but it wasn’t a good look.

The voice? That is the least of his concerns here. No eye contact, at all. Just strange all around.
