As he should be, his resume blows a lot of "HOF" coaches away.

Yet he can't even sniff the job at louisville. Sad

I think that says a lot about Charlie Strong and how Fulmer carries himself

Eh. Any list that includes Jim Donnan immediately loses a bit of prestige IMO.

Congrats to Coach Fulmer. I have said many times that what he did from 1993 to 2004 is outstanding. All of my childhood memories of the Vols were produced by teams he coached.

It's official. Jimmie Johnson and RC Slocum in as well.

They really aren't doing anything to improve my overall opinion of this group.....

Does he get to take Cutcliffe with him?

On a serious note, it is well deserved and I'm glad to see him get in.

Well, he gave me a chance to go Tempe and for that I'm grateful. He also cost me a trip to the Rose Bowl. He definitely deserves it, but good Lord I will never forgive him for 2001.

You don't have to forgive him. You can appreciate what he DID bring without overlooking his failures, or what he did to Majors.

    Memphis State, 1996.

That is my unforgivable game. First time I had seen us lose in person, and my God, to Memphis State.

Oh, I do appreciate what he did but I really, really wanted to go to the Rose Bowl. Went in '97 to the UCLA game, sat next to the owner of the Mouse's Ear on the flight out. Fun trip.

I will always think he should have won more SEC titles. I'm not saying he should have won 10, but IMO he should have had at minimum two more.
