First Team All-American Grant Williams

Now both an AP and Coaches 1st team All-American.

the last time we had a first team All-American some of you guys weren't even alive. Dale Ellis in the early 80s.

 

Surprised that Allan Houston was only Third Team.

 

#2 hanging in the rafters of TBA someday is an absolute lock now, even if he goes pro this year.

 

Absolute shame my dude Carlus Groves wasn't first team All America.

 

I was around for the Crazy Ray days and was lucky enuff to watch the Ernie & Bernie show. Good times.

That being said, this team gave me as much joy and pride as any of them.

I remember this cat - moustache and a crew cut / high top fade.

 

And absolutely kudos to this fine young man.

When is the last time we had a first team All American in anything?

I’m legit happy for his hard work to be recognized in such a way. And, yes, he’s the last cat that will wear #2, even if he never plays another minute, as well he should be.
