You’ve not been paying attention, or at least very well or for very long.

We rarely have strong / stark disagreements on what is / is not concerning & problematic, but rather, in how best to address and seek to solve those areas, by whom, in what timeframe and with what degree of urgency.

You’re probably best described as being primarily motivated by an idealist philosophy of liberalism, buffeted with a strong sense of justice and fairness. I’m more conservative, cautious, pragmatic and realistic for your liking and agreement.

You naturally prefer and push for things as you want, hope and wish for them to be, and to be near immediately realized. I naturally prefer to see the reality of where things currently are, eschew change simply for the sake of change, or agree that anything at all be done simply because someone wishes or imagines it so.

You are more comfortable with and seem to prefer wholesale and revolutionary changes, believing that being sincerely good-intentioned - or even right - is sufficient cause to begin quickly making them. I prefer and believe that most things are exactly the way they are for very many and good reasons, and that while I’m largely ok with progress and change, that we should at least be certain that it both can and should be achieved, first and foremost.

Neither approach or disposition can ever be perfectly true and fully correct, in all circumstances.

All this being said, large swaths of common ground exists - gun control, the fundamental stupidity / corruption of both parties / much of our political structure, that all people should enjoy the same rights, that the law should be as just and equitably applied to all and to the greatest possible extent, that no one should have to fear others or our government, that civil liberties should not be infringed, etc. etc. etc.

    Just my $.02

I was just trying to make a joke off your gang rape comment. which was a terrible idea to try to do on more than one level

Yes, this lie of a law allowing a live person to be "executed" is among the most nefarious of all politically motivated deceits I've ever seen. Consider the source, though.

I have no idea if it's true, but I've read where they will do a c-section, leave the baby's head in the womb, and insert scissors in the base of the skull. It's done like this because as long as the baby's head in in the womb, its technically not born yet

I think you lead off with the most important part of your whole statement: I don't know if it's true.

I would be interested to see if this type of abortion has been done and the circumstances. I would be horrified if it was ever done to a healthy baby, and horrified at the type of doctor that would perform such a procedure.

You basically have to be brain dead to believe it.

They wrap the baby and then decide whether or not to execute it? Good lord people, turn your brains on.

this is not really what you described. you said baby, and didn't say anything about miscarriage, severe defects, or threat to life of the mother.

and I don't point that out to be a sick. we are going to see murders of doctors soon if this rhetoric keeps up, is all.

Are you sleep deprived? I said I read something. Then posted what I read. There are also YouTube videos that show the procedure, I won't post them.
