Is the free exercise of his freedom of speech somehow less assured than hers, in peaceably protesting? He’s an attention-whoring and tone-deaf [penis], but he has no less of a right to do what he’s doing, than she does.
tenny i imagine if you were there and your 2 daughters are the ones this guy did the same thing to, and he evidently did to 2 teenagers, you wouldnt be so PC and compare someone doing something peacefully, to getting verbally harrassed and threatened.
I’m always for the free and legal exercising of rights, in both theory and person. I’m also consistent in my belief that it should be stopped whenever it turns illegal (harassing, threatening, etc.), and those who are proven and found guilty of having committed such acts to be justly punished. If my daughter was out there, I’d not ask or expect others to limit the free and legal exercising of their rights, any more than I’d permit them to demand the same of her. But first, I’d ask her where I had so fantastically failed her, and what kind of heathen god I’d mistakenly introduced her to, as evidenced by her belief that the power or effectiveness of her prayer was in any way proximally determined.
Welp, a teenage girl with her sis and mom were peacefully praying for the babies, when this guy put them on social media and offered $ for anyone outing their names and addresses. Uncool.
It can absolutely be uncool, counter-productive, dumb, asshole-ish, etc., but such is his right, just as it’s yours to say / believe he’s a [penis] for doing it. That’s my only point, here.
That's the hard part about defending freedom. You often have to do it for the worst pieces of shit since those are the ones that pushes the envelope.
My wife got ready to go somewhere in an hour today. I thought about skipping my farewell luncheon at work to head to Georgia for lottery tickets.
counterpoint: Jarvis from Iron Man. Alfred Pennyworth. the "would you like to know more?" newsboy from Starship Troopers. plenty of male fantasies have male assistants.
