one of my buddies is sliding through Knoxville on Sunday, heading out Monday.

He’s looking for a solid dinner recommendation for Sunday night, and a good breakfast on Monday. He’ll have a crew of kids with him, so wing specials at [breast] bars isn’t an option this round.

I’m removed from Knoxville in recent years due to my Butch Jones and [ddiapos] boycotts, so I’m relying on you pricks.

    Whatdya say?

This is also a good choice, if he wants to drive a short distance.

I’ve eaten at both the lake and downtown locations a shit ton of times and one thing I’d say is that the lake location has been consistently better and the brisket ranges from pretty dang good to mediocre at best.

I’ve got to eat at Pete’s with you, you must have some special menu you’re ordering from.

I'm a basic breakfast food man. I like their pancakes and omelets. Cant help it. Just like the atmosphere.

I’ve probably had it 5-6 times there and everything else infinitely more. I think I averaged 2-3 trips a week during high school/college in the summer.

At the lake location right now. Better than what I had last time (downtown) for sure. More like what I remembered

Savelli’s (if it’s still around) is a good dinner spot too, but a little further out.
