It would have been nice if he had proved his ability to recruit before the 2020 class.

No shit, we haven’t had any good players

 

We were 30th in the country for 2019 recruiting class. And that was with very little show on the court up to that point, and doesn’t include the two grad transfers, one of which was a 4* in high school, the other is 7 feet tall and expected to be a very strong contributor.

 

Someone on VN said that a guy at Rivals was told that UNC hasn’t been talking to Springer lately. It appears he isn’t a priority for them at this time.

(I don’t have a sub so I can’t vouch for the accuracy, just relaying what I read.)

 

The word is that they are in on higher rated prospects at the same position, which is why they haven’t shown him as much attention.

 

More and more people saying we are in a great position for Springer. Very real possibility 23 land three 5 *’s in this class.

 

We are about to sign the best recruiting class weve had as a program. Didnt see it coming, but players want to be prepped for the nba. This last season and draft were huge. Add in a top 5 crowd and sell it.

during the season and into Grant and Bone declaring, as well as losing a top assistant, I did not see Barnes and UT having a top 5 and maybe #1 recruiting class. I was told he was too lazy to recruit anyway, so yes, I did not expect three 5* in one class.

 

Top 5 player in 2021 is taking 4 official visits. TN is one.
