maurer going down then the missed td pass by JG to JJ and it was over. But, there is no doubt our staff and players thought we could win and many played well enough to win. Maurer's enthusiasm and intensity is infectious to the team and fans. With true freshmen OTs and the biggest dog in the history of the matchup, Pruitt, Chaney, Maurer, Jennings and other deep down believed they could win. Once more of the team gets that, we will win more.
Some clown on TOS is asking why people are excited after losing to Alabama. I don’t have the patience to open that thread, but the answer is simple, the line of scrimmage. Does anyone have a clip of the good QB sneak, where the goal was to get a first down but instead we pushed Alabama’s crimson asses into the end zone? That play had me ready to run through a brick wall.
The run by Jordan which was stopped at a 3-yard gain and they pushed it to 11 was about as excited as I’ve been in a long time over Tennessee football.
My 12 yr old daughter thought that was the coolest thing ever. Even she understood that our boys came to play Saturday night after seeing that play. This was the most interested she has ever been in a game.
75 seems to like contact when he gets to play. Maybe he's another guy who is better when the game starts than at practice
