I was at that game yesterday. ND fans were totally out of it when VT had the ball midfield in the 4th. Stadium media got them back in it and then ND had the long drive to take the lead.

ND has three turnovers inside the VT 25. Including one returned for 6. Bad.

Sleet was cool, though.

 

Jimbo is extremely overrated. He's a drunk jackass that relies on other coaches to discipline his team.

 

I feel like he’s pretty accurately rated among people who are knowledgeable. He’s a good enough coach to produce top 5 results if he has too 5 talent, that may sound obvious, but plenty of coaches aren’t capable of that. Thus far he’s not recruiting at the level he needs to.

 

A&M is overrated as a program as well. You'd have thought they'd have gotten a boost from being in the SEC and for a bit they did, but really all it's done is further expose how overrated TX HS football is.

 

Even with top 5 talent, he's going to shit the bed a few times

 

TAMU has always been the Mississippi State to Texas's Ole Miss.

 

Willie Taggert has been fired.

 

That sucks for him. I think he inherited a tough situation.

 

FSU is a cluster. It's getting better, but I'm not sure who goes there right now.

I get that they needed to do something but I don't see who comes in there and turns it around. Their lines are atrocious. And they still have a shot at bowl eligibility.

 

He's got the pedigree. But lawd he's been awful at FSU.

 

Urban Meyer just made another $20M as he gets a bidding war started between USC & FSU.

I’d go USC all the way.

 

USC in a heartbeat.

 

USC is arguably the best job in the country. I can think of 10-15 jobs I’d take before FSU.

 

At USC, you can get to mediocre and be a 9 win team, easy. At FSU, mediocre will get you to 6 to 7 wins.

 

And lol at the FSU media listing Meyer and Bob Stoops as the top candidates. They might end up with a Stoops as head coach, but it won’t be Bob.
