I think I stayed in Mississippi the last time I spent the night in the greater Memphis area. Only other times I stayed in Memphis was at my wife's aunt's place out near Windyke back in the 90s.
I've had some really fun times in Memphis and I've had my truck broken into and been escorted out of a hotel lobby for telling them I hoped everything but St Jude fell into the damn river.
The thieving bastards got 7 dollars in quarters and caused 900 dollars worth of damage to my, at the time, 8 month old truck. I was livid, then the woman behind the counter in the lobby asked what I expected, I was in Memphis.
There has been a lot of recent development downtown and there have been recent announcements of pending downtown developments of around like 2 billion....
I live in N Mississippi right outside of Memphis. Great area. Development is rampant of folks wanting to get out of Memphis. Building hotels like crazy too... so if you ever need to stay in Memphis or even a game in Oxford, its a great place with a short drive in to the things that you may want to do in town. Also, the new I269 is awesome... you can get off of I40 in Arlington and take it around Memphis and back to 55 if going south or all the way to Hwy 61 towards Tunica... all while bypassing the city. Kinda of like 840 but it doesn't reconnect back to 40.
You have to be impressed with his detective skills. Don't know how he ever deduced you were in Citrus County!
Tennessee 16 Missouri 6 After the game, Barry Odom gives [ddiapos] some good news and some bad news. The good news is he is no longer in football hell. The bad news is he is fired, and Barry tells Derek he should go back to lawyer hell.
