2019-2020 Season

Not a great showing defensively thus far against a pretty mediocre team.

 

Started the game off playing pretty good defense. It has sucked the last 8-10 min.

 

This is pitiful.

 

Fulky trying to do too much there.

 

So many defensive mistakes. Cincy has lost to Vermont and Colgate already, but we are unable to keep a man in front of us or handle the picks. Awful first half a continuation of the Memphis game or just who we are.

 

we only gave up 51 to Memphis and held them to 5 assists and low shooting %. We just sucked offensively. Turner is in a bad rut. Cincy getting to the rim a lot easier than Memphis with their big man high pick and roll, and shooting like they haven't all year. Hopefully they cool off. Wouldn't mind seeing us try some zone if we continue to struggle with it.
Another game Uros would've helped. As much as Fulk gives and has improved, if he and Pons are your best inside threats and defenders, you hope to be a bubble team. I've thought Uros would be the difference between 16 and 19 wins

Cincy's coach looks greasy.

 

Any given night in college ball. Love it. Its all about matchups and making shots.
Our issue is finding a matchup offensively we like.

 

Bowden going under screen was a dumb play followed by a turnover but if its a moving pick, call it.

 

We’re just not very good rn

 

6-37 from 3 the last 2 games. Cant beat anybody with that, especially with a guard heavy team.

 

This team is bad. There is no offensive production. This is what happens when your team is full of sixth men and backups

 

I'm starting to sense 'coaching' wasn't the difference maker last season....

 

On to next season.

 

This is a collection of role players and just not very good. The Washington game was a fluke as we had an out of body shooting night, but this is who we are. I really think .500 with this ball club will be an accomplishment.

 

Yeah the coaches had nothing to do with turning 3* players into NBA draft picks.
Thats why we just had a top 5 recruiting class.
