He will blow his vocal chords out and never sing again after just one set.

He won’t sing Friends in Low Places for fear it will be interpreted as support for the coaching staff.

    1-3 and staring at 1-6.

Neyland will likely look fuller than it should because of all the red. The next weeks attendance will depend on how bad Miss St fans want to party in Knox.

If Thamel is right, Pruitt will get left in Tuscaloosa where he will win another ring as a intern while smoking cigars and counting his buyout loot with BJ.

If Pruitt is still on board, the UAB game might tell the tale.. at least for a week or two. Maybe you get a crowd of some sort because of homecoming, but lose that game and the attendance dip and recruits that will be running from the fire will make it impossible to trot Pruitt out for a year 3.

UAB is 3-0 and the only unbeaten C-USA team.

To the OP point, here is what I’d recommend at coach Pruitt’s table. Adopt the model of the NE Patriots. Recruit players that will work in your chosen offenses and defenses. This takes an individual who knows football horseflesh if you will. He knows the real McCoy when he sees it, make him your first recruit and pay him well. And not just athletic abilities, but character and personality are taken into account. Take the time and effort to analyze the recruit for everything. Don’t take any player just because he’s 4 stars and willing. Can he excel at the position within that scheme, and is he of good character, is he coachable? Grades? Is he emotionally stable? I’m serious. Recruiting is the rock you can anchor to to rebuild this program and is probably the only way. The pats sign players traditionally that look great in his offense because they fit like the matching part, not because they’re the best. Coaching changes aren’t the answer, recruit discipline and scheme discipline is.

Take all of that, and then in big games, cheat however else possible.

I thought, given the praise Pruitt seems to be receiving now for his handling of the QB situation this year, that this thread deserved a bump. And while there were a variety of points of view about how QB was being handled while it was being handled, I also thought it appropriate to single out this entry:

    and this:

I believe you misidentified the idiot.

I'm not singling either of you out, I thought the same thing a both of you did, but it did work.

I've never seen it before and probably never will again, but he played light years better off the bench. It shouldn't work.

Maurer doesn't bounce off his head, maybe we would never get to see it work.

That's a funny way to say, "You had a really good point, and maybe I should have considered it before behaving like a complete ass."

And yet you were the one who went full retard while showing yourself to be thoroughly, exhaustively, and gloriously wrong.

There is a lesson this for you, were only you astute enough to learn it.

I don't really understand most memes. For instance, why is it a dinosaur? It could be a clown or a chicken, I guess, but I still wouldn't understand the selection of the icon. If it were a commodore, or a porn star, I guess I could see some connection, but it still wouldn't have much to do with warhammer going all Christmas vacation and then turning out to be unequivocally wrong and then trying to cover it with an insult to my alma mater. I mean, is the dino thinking? Is it because warhammer didn't think? Doesn't think? Should think? Is thinking some sort of Vandy intellectual dig?

    I don't get it.
