if the coaches want him, you either get behind them or call for their firing. they are ultimately responsible, and are well compensated, for these kind of decisions. He's just a young man with some problems. It's the perfect time to change scenery and get right. might as well do it here.
At this point we need all the talent we can get so if we can get Evans, roll the dice and put him on a short leash until he proves he's not a knucklehead.
To piggyback off of what I said earlier, Evans would not do well at UGA with Kirby. Seems like Kirby would only exasperate his issues. I could see Pruitt making this kid work, like Jennings and Banks.
As long as he hasn't been hitting on women or kids, bring him on with a super short leash, get him setup with some people to help him out with his issues, and let's roll.
I think the rumor is he hit a coach. Awful thing to do, but not the worst thing a person can do. If he is remorseful, I couldn't hold it against him long even if I was the coach who was hit.
