Kobe was one of the guys that seemed invincible, like he'd be here after we are all long gone. He was the player that really got me into the NBA. Unbelievable.

I get that it’s a big deal in sports and I personally hate to hear of anyone that young dying (and in such an unexpected way)- but can’t say I’m moved In any real way.

But I really don’t care about NBA basketball.

Hearing some of his young family might have been on board shakes me a lot more.

 

i'm moved as [uck fay]. one of the best. Wasn't my favorite but been watching him for a long time. Very smart guy and great competitor. Hoping the girls weren't on the helicopter. Kobe lived an unreal life. Those girls haven't lived theirs yet.

 

Grew up loving the Lakers. Eventually got fed up with the drama and switched to the Grizz, but loves those early 2000s teams.

The older I get, the more I like him because I realize just how hard he worked. Not sure anybody got more out of their raw God given talent than he did.
