2019-2020 Season

A&M was when we officially hit the "develop the young guys" phase of the season.

 

Pretty much been all year.

 

Barnes should have his salary for this season rescinded. Unbelievable how bad this team is.

 

Perhaps one of the most astonishingly awful defensive performances I've ever seen. Exactly one stop on defense in the entire half.

 

Hasn't been that bad. They have done a great job moving the ball and finding the right guy, they've also got the benefit of the whistle.

 

What?

 

We certainly haven't played a good defensive game but they are also hitting a lot of shots too. When you shoot 70% from the field, hard to keep up when you dont have any consistent scorers. Plus we have had no answers for Perry all game.

 

First half D was great. 2and half they abused us. Twas a bad matchup.
Grant, Bone, Turner and JJJ woulda been more enjoyable to see out there.

 

This team sucks. A great job putting a roster together by the guy who is getting paid like a final four coach.

We have a bunch of young guys trying to figure out how to play. What exactly did you expect this season with us losing our 5 best players from last year? And drop the money angle, you ain't paying his salary.

 

This time last year, the guys I listed above were supposed to be on the roster today I dont think it's fair to not take it into consideration.

 

I expected us to field a team that didn’t look like we were the practice dummies for the Harlem Globetrotters against Mississippi State.

 

We only lose Bowden next year. We return a solid team that will have earned their stripes and one of the best recruiting classes in the country.

 

I believe next year will be fine. Doesn’t mean that we can’t call this season what it is.

 

Exactly. You are just failing to see what it is. We aren't Duke or Kentucky. We can't lose 4 guys to the NBA and another to injury and just keep trucking.

 

Uros with 16 in his first start. Didnt see that coming. Not an easy task for him today

 

He's going to be tough to handle when he gets his legs under him.

 

Yes, it really was that bad. Numerous times, we lost our man. We gave up offensive rebounds off free throw misses. We let them get the ball low on the block with an easy entry pass and a simple down pick. And, it wasn't like they were hitting contested shots. Guys were wide open. Stop sugar coating this, the defense was pathetic and this is something a young team can do, effort on defense.
