I support that, but we'll just have to keep the camera angle straight at him.

Has he always talked this way or is he trying to sound like Obama on purpose?

He's made a distinct change in delivery style as of late.

And he still looks like the adult version of the MAD Magazine guy to me.

Find a side profile picture of him and tell me if he doesn’t look like Jones.

Straight ahead I see your mad magazine thing too.

I think one thing you saw in NH is a whole lot of ex-Republicans switching over to the Democrats. Trump plays well in blue collar places like Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. But NH is a libertarian type of place. Their support for Republicans was always based on economic policy. Now that that has shifted they are firmly in the D column. Bunch of disaffected ex-Republicans choosing moderates like Pete or Klobuchar is the result.

this is playing out eerily similarly to the '16 GOP primary. "Moderate lane" gonna fart around and wait to consolidate and it could bite them in the ass.

Trump got almost 3 times as many votes as Obama got as an incumbent there, though.

I am not sharing this as evidence of any growth among POC, but because this could be read as an incredibly backhanded endorsement. It's kind of hilarious.

I'm enjoying Warren's "I met a college girl with 6 dollars, and she contributed 3 to my campaign" line.

I'm not sure why you'd compare Klobuchar's numbers directly with Pete's. I was just pointing out one of his glaring issues. It's definitely not the only one.

Klobuchar likely draws the female vote more than Pete, and she's also actually won a legitimate election before, which is something Pete can't really point to as mayor of South Bend.

Who has a better shot of beating Trump in a general election at this point?

I compared them because you postulated she's a better option than Pete because of experience and challenges with Black support. Experience is fair, but she's literally polling at 0% with Black and Latino voters. Pete is way too low, but has more support from POC than does she. In that contrast he wins.

And how exactly were his two mayoral elections illegitimate? Mayors don't count in politics I suppose.

Best chance to beat Trump in general:

    1) Bloomberg
    2) Buttigieg

Not claiming a good chance to win, only best chance imo.

    Bloomberg?

    I'd put sanders in there.

I agree for the most part. I’m not a big fan of his, but I think Bloomberg would have a really good chance against Trump. It’s hard for me to see Pete winning a national election as long as the economy is as strong as it is.
