Head coach of a P5 team is a death sentence:

1) Makes more money than they know what to do with
2) High Pressure/High Stress
3) Must be a borderline compulsive personality to even be in that line of work
4) LOOOOOONG hours
5) Crappy diet

 

I see a great reality show possibility here. Barnes walks into Shoney's to see Pruitt, Chaney, and Fulmer chowing down. He tells them that they are entering his offseason "fat camp". That would be must see TV.

 

On 5, when you are making that much, there’s really no reason to eat a crappy diet.

 

Pruitt is from northern Alabama and his favorite food is cornbread and country fried steak. "Healthy food" to him, is green beans cooked in lard

 

I seem to recall he got fat before when he started coaching and had to really work to keep it off.
