I wonder how young people vaping like their lives depended on it over the last several years is impacting the severity of the virus for that group.

Those are higher hospitalization rates than I expected and I’d love to see refreshed data now that more people are being tested. At one point about the only way to be tested was if you were hospitalized.

Do you know where current hospitalizations and critical/ICU hospitalization might be tracked now?

As of Mon (and total cases have changed since then) Davidson Co. had 180 cases.

2 deaths
2 other hospitalized (severity unknown)
27 recovered
The rest were at home.

 

Well that’s a fundamentally different rate than the data from those first few thousand cases but, again, that could easily be because of who was being tested early on.

 

Yeah. Stats are hard to follow on something like this. And those were just for Metro Davidson Co and not the entire state.

I haven't seen any new stats on hospitalized since then on new or current cases.

 

I just got the phone with my youngest son. He was crying. He is an EMT and his wife is an Rn. The have a 2 1/2 month old daughter. His wife was exposed to the coronavirus 3 days ago not knowing it. She came home and breastfeed my granddaughter as usual. When she got to work today she was informed that the patient had tested positive.

I just got some further explanation from my son, he called while I was typing this. The patient had left the hospital on the first day she had contact and then came back yesterday where they transferred her to a Georgia hospital. The hospital she works for wasn’t requiring them to wear masks. Which really ticks me off!

So those of you that will please lift my family in prayer!

 

It's hard to follow because nothing lines up.

 

Wish we knew what those at home feel like. They sick or just have it and are isolated.

While the info would be nice, not being in the hospital is good news.

 

Just read an article on Tillman Fertitta.

He is very highly levered, which he used to really expand his empire.

His casinos and restaurants are under the Golden Nugget umbrella.

A lot of his personal wealth and the Rockets are held separately.

He’s making 4-5% of the cash flow from his restaurants that he normally would.

Nothing from casino.

Rockets significantly down.

His wealth has plunged 33% in the last few weeks from $5.

He has about two months of cash for operations. Then he starts selling assets.

 

Talked to a client who's best friend in NYC was in the hospital, was near ventilator stage, but he improved so he was immediately discharge because they needed the bed. 32 and in great shape.

 

It ll make your head spin.
