It’s unsurprising that you’d automatically and goofily think that hanging must mean lynching. I’d never condone such lawlessly violent behavior. Someone has to stand against such acts, not only when emotions are justified and emotions run high....but particularly when they are and do. If people are tried and convicted of treasonous acts, they’ll legally hang at the end of a rope tied about their necks in a court of law.
