"When that T opens up and that crowd roars, you can't hear the band."

It don’t matter how much we might suck, that never will

If Tennessee football ever had a definitive moment, it was Ward's call of the team running through the T against Florida in 1990.

The one that always sticks out to me is the 98 Arkansas game.

I have teared up on multiple occasions when the T opened up.

I'm not an emotional person, at all, to the point that my wife says I have a "problem". That said, I got choked up watching my son get excited as the team ran through the T at his first game. Nothing better in the world.

I save my tears for after the game, cheer and go crazy before the game.

I’m pretty sure when watching this game I teared up watching the T form up, hopes were high. I‘ve always seen the Tennessee football team as the face of the state representative of all the states folks, the music, the work ethic, the rolling mountains and honor won in battles. I’m very proud I grew up in Tennessee. Prob why it hurts so much to see them get beat too, because with all the embarrassment of incompetence in coaching hires and fires as well as on the field I don’t just see a team lose, it’s the state of Tennessee.
