I think, deep in our deepest hearts, we all knew this was going to happen.

NIU will claim they are champions for life for getting it shut down.

First undefeated season in years, and all you people do is complain. Jesus.

Not complaining, just putting blame on someone besides UTAD

Australia has been playing with damn crowds for weeks (admittedly not in Victoria).

Everyone running out and "getting back to normal" in May and June, when some places never even really shut down to begin with, made it virtually impossible this would resolve. And nothing has changed, there is no reason to believe it is just going to go away in October or December. Not until a vaccine is being implemented.

Did you miss PGA, NBA, MLB, and MLS? College sports is a different animal. Students and liabilities. Also no Eurocup and other events in Europe either.

Protecting fake amateurism is probably a massive complication here.

I do wonder if conference only scheduling makes a move to the Spring easier.

Do you think this will affect high school sports?

Two of those sports have only been operating through a temporary bubble. One is having multiple numbers of cancellations and rumored to be shutting down at various points. The Cardinals haven't played since July. And, the fourth one is golf. I'm not overwhelmed with positivity.
