The Twins have lost 17 straight postseason games. How is that possible

16 teams make it into the playoffs? Is this for this year only or is this how its going to be going forward?

If this is how it is, why even have a regular season of more than 40 games?

I won’t be surprised if it stays, because Rob Manfred is a [uck fay]ing idiot

Imagine having a 162 game season and over half the league makes the playoffs. What a joke.

Yeah. Used to be one team from each league. Then it improved to two. And it was that way for a long time.

More is not always better. These greedy dollar chasing owners don't ever seen to understand this

People talking about how boring baseball is, that’s reason #1.

In the 116 years of playoff baseball up until this year, 2 players ever had made their MLB debut in a playoff game. Adalberto Mondesi for the Royals in 2015 and Mark Kiger for the A's in 2006.

This year alone, 3 have made their debut in the playoffs so far. Twins’ Alex Kirilloff, Rays’ Shane McClanahan, and Padres’ Ryan Weathers.

Kiger played in 2 games that year, for a total of 1.2 innings, then never played in another major league game again.

The Dodgers laugh at the Cardinals 10 run first inning in the NLDS last year.

I got home and turned the game on. I saw 7-0 and thought it must have been the sixth inning or thereabouts. 11-0 in the first? Jesus Christ

Alvarado for the Rays can throw a [uck fay]ing baseball. 99 mph fastball, and a 97 mph sinker. His fastball almost looks like a screwball.

And the [uck fay]er looked like a strike till about that last 10 feet. Hitting that pitch would just be dumb luck, close your eyes and swing type of dumb luck.
