@CardinalVol or one of you other know it alls, how does monetary gifts work in regards to taxes? It's my understanding that a recipient can receive up to $15,000 without any tax issues coming up. Is that correct or am I way off base?

 

Nope, a person can give up to 15K to an individual with no tax issues.

Person can give 15K from 1,000 people with 0 tax issues
