What he says is irrelevant. I've about convinced myself that the questioning of whether he needs to make a change at QB has just emboldened him to stick with JG.
This is all fixed when he realizes that he's got to move on from QB. I don't care what this team says publicly they know they can't win with JG.
It’s painfully obvious this team doesn’t care to play at 100% behind JG. I understand. Pruitt sticking with this goof under center is inexplicable.
If your last statement is true, I mentioned something along those lines about what this team looked like the 2nd half last week. Then the problem is not the QB.
I'm with you. I like the fact we hired someone who knows football, but I'm to the point now where I believe this job, and maybe even "head coaching" is just too much for him.
They called the game today like it was a scrimmage before an off week. But then forgot they still had the same QB that isn't getting better with reps still on the field late in the 4th quarter.
will that fix tackling on def? Not trying to be a smartass but hard to find a qb to score enough to cover this defense
This simultaneously makes me feel worse about the last three weeks and better about our chances of pulling our heads out of our asses post-bye
I like Pruitt as well but he's doing everything in his power to lose the fans, lose the team, and lose his job.
The defense has its problems, but replacing the QB with a guy who isn't shitty and isn't universally hated can work wonders for morale.
I guess. Honestly it just tells me we rode our inept Sr QB to another L that we shouldn't have last week. And then failed to get another option reps in a game that we didn't even look interested in winning from a planning or decision standpoint. It may get some better as it goes, but I think it eventually circles back around before its over.
