I stand corrected.

How long was he at Stanford? All I can find is mentions of him being an assistant AD out there, but nothing about when/how long.

 

Son of a. ECU's football program is terrible under him.

 

I think 3 years. The biggest thing is helping organize and run the Olympics. That's not an easy job

 

How about this:

We let Steele interim in 2021
Hire an AD by fall
Hire Lane Kiffin the Sunday after the Vandy game.


Let's ride.

 

I’d be willing to ride with Steele for a year if it meant they were going to make a big boy hire

 

I don't care anymore.

 

I would just hire Ingram from UAB or Harrison from Austin Peay tomorrow as AD, hire Kiffin on January 21st.

 

If John Ward was alive, you could guarantee he would take it.

Being as that we've actually done something competently for a change, let me revise what I would do.

1. Call Kiffin
2. Call Stoops
3. Call Campbell.
4. If they all say no, go back to 1 and start one again until 1 of them says yet.

 

Maybe its just me but I don't see us having much issue getting Kiffin to come back.

Will we pursue him is the question.

100% agree. And could have had him then. But heavy wasn't gonna do that.

 

Because he's a terrible manager. Give him the good ol' boy over the qualified candidate.
