i dunno what forum to throw this question in, but anybody have thoughts on reaching out to Blackburn for AD?

would that be good?
would he even be interested in it now?
is the same administration in place when they shunned him last go around?

I really wouldn't mind a Malzahn, Herman, etc type who we know isnt going to get us back to the 90s but should at least be able to get us out of the gutter. Just make sure you setup the contract that way and dont back up the money truck for anyone outside of the big fish(namely, bob stoops). No way we need $20mil+ buyouts for any of those names on that list though

Could do a lot worse than both. From all I’ve read Ingram is a better fit....so that won’t happen.

 

Appears that Ingram's only relevant experience is resurrecting a dead football program. Not sure why we'd want that here.

 

I'd be pretty on board with O'Brien.

 

He wouldn't be a hire that would have me super excited for football again, but O'Brien would be an amazing hire compared to the last three [uck fay]s that we employed.

 

I'd be pretty happy with Napier, Chadwell, or O'Brien. No one else there does much for me. Marrone, Doeren, and Fisher are pretty much shut the program down permanently guys.

 

i don’t see Napier being the odds on fav at this point.
