Things are not going fine. That's the problem. Money apparently can't offset the fact of the cluster[uck fay] this place has been for 10 years and that we have no clue what sanctions are coming. No one is willing to make the jump.
yep, eventually, you can’t chalk all these reports up as smoke screens and misinformation. Even if Danny has things locked down and air tight from our side, if he’s meeting with candidates then there’s nothing to prevent that side of the table from floating information. And all that information says we’ve been swinging and missing on every sitting head coach we’ve pursued.
If you are giving it a good shot and swing and miss, that's all you can ask for. If coaches want to stay where they are, then you can't blame them.
Doesn't have to be all, just enough to make you question all. Oldest trick in the book is to have your name floated if you think you're underpaid. Tennessee coaching searches in the last decade are likely responsible for $100 million in raises (maybe that's hyperbole, but just maybe).
We’re trying to throw big money at dudes who already have big money. The risk here can definitely outweigh the reward for some. I’m hoping we go get Chadwell at this point.
If the Dykes theory had any more water thrown on it, it would be classified as inhabiting the abyssal zone.
