1. Hamilton doesn't happen without Fulmer. 2. Saban's immediate success in the SEC doesn't happen without Fulmer's chronic ineptitude AND Hamilton's deemphasizing football at Tennessee
In an alternate universe, Majors doesn't get pushed out and wins a NC at Tennessee. He retires and we hire Saban after the guy who follows Majors. Also, clemson never sniffs a nc.

I don’t have much to think of him. Kentucky had a good defense in 2018. But then he left to be an NFL position coach, which usually is a downgrade from SEC DC. I don’t know what the deal was there. Also we’ve had like ten rumors pick up steam already so I’m not getting too excited or worried until it gets picked up by people who know.
