Never has a cyclone been so strong before freaking May.

5 hours ago there was a 100% chance of rain this afternoon, 1-2 inches, and possible hail.

Now it's a 33% chance of rain, and I've not seen a single drop today since 8am.

It finally rained here at 3:30, or an hour before I wanted to cut the grass.

So now I’m hoping for some sun to dry it out and I can still get to it tonight.

Somehow I got the lawnmower out and the yard mowed before the last cell really unloaded at my house about 645. Finished the back in a pretty decent downpour, but it started shit pouring as soon as I got in the garage.

Waking up to the weather radio going off is fun

It's such an obnoxious noise too. But funny to see my dog run and get under the end table for shelter when it goes off

Looks like there may have been a tornado around Castilian Springs but hasn’t been confirmed yet to my knowledge

I’m glad it’s obnoxious, but yeah. My dogs freak out

I need to get a better radio so I can axe the flood warnings, we are high enough that floods shouldn’t be an issue. The tornado warning woke me up for good though

It thundered for like 10 minutes straight at my house this morning around 4:00. Woke both dogs up and sent them into a panic and woke the baby up. In conclusion, [uck fay] thunder.

Climatologically, Fairbanks, Alaska is no longer "subarctic." Wow. The May normal temperature is now above 50 degrees, prompting the change from Dfc (subarctic) to Dfb (humid continental climate).

Should be a good night to fly a kite down here.

My mom, who doesn't understand geography, was freaking out earlier because we're at Santa Rosa Beach

One of my favorite spots. Hit goatfeathers up for some fresh fish to grill. Sunshine coffee has good donuts but go early. Shunk Gulley blackened grouper is always good. Perfect pig as well. Also an Irish pub near you with a good burger too. Quick trip to Grayton to Chiringos for lunch is worth it
