I have to agree here. Unless a meteorite strikes the UGa team bus as it rolls into town, I don’t see any way we beat Georgia.
I think it would be possible (though very improbable) if the OL could give Hooker time to sit in the pocket, but that’s not going to happen.
I’ve been deflecting conversation to the Braves rather than getting worked up about the Vols all over again.
To be clear, that’s 1 in 8 if the bye allows us to get the full-strength OL that we’ve only seen for one quarter all season. If we’re still starting Lane and Davis, we’re going to get eaten alive. We might get eaten alive anyways, but Hooker’s legs and our playmakers in space give us a fighting chance if our OL can even be competitive.
I’m sad I just now thought of this but I think Milton took “get the ball to playmakers in space” a bit too literally
