Official 2018 8th Maxim Fantasy Football League Thread

I’ve scored 95+ 4 times and 100+ twice, and the one time I didn’t was my one win lol. Fantasy is weird sometimes

 

Suddenly, after struggling around 100 for weeks, I bust a 148. Thanks, Justin Herbert.

Lol, McCaffrey moved to IR.

Not laughing about the injury, just laughing about the fantasy situation. He’s the best player, so you have to take him. But he never plays.

 

I’m doing pretty well for someone who was given a draft grade of D+ by yahoo.

 

Yahoo's so dumb about that. It grades on the assumption that preseason expectations are always correct.

 

I’m gonna score less than 50 this week. My god what an awful team lol

 

FYI, the trade deadline is essentially the end of the day on Friday (3am ET Saturday). You can actually trade on Saturday too, but those won't be processed in time for Sunday's games so they'd be for next week.

 

Who the hell was in first place and then scored 35 points to lose against me (last place)? That made me laugh.

 

That was wild.

My team has no business being 6-4 right now.

Scored 200+ points in my regular espn PPR league. Had Taylor, with like 53, Herbert with like 34, and Jefferson with like 37. Might be the most points I’ve ever seen in a single game

 

Yahoo projections for Kamara this week:

Monday: "Saints are hopeful he's playing."

Tuesday: "Yeah, he's likely going to see the field."

Wednesday: "Oh he's playing."

Thursday Game Night: "Lol jk 0 points for you"

Oof.

 

After it became clear he wasn't going to be playing, projections for Ingram shot up. I picked him up in half of my leagues and was feeling really good about myself for being so on top of it.

I think he put up 3 points.

 

[uck fay], I knew drafting Travis Kelce on half of my teams was gonna pay off one of these weeks. Just wish it could have been before I missed the playoffs by a game in most of those leagues.

 

Turns out Saquon wasn't a good first round pick. Who knew?

 

Same here. 2nd in this league in points, 6-8 anyway and now going off in the playoff weeks of course

 

Had to pick up a player in a league this week, and my drop choices were Mattison or Julio Jones. Thought to myself “Just the chance that Mattison could potentially get a start at some point over the last part of the season makes him worth keeping.”

ESPN saying that Dalvin is on the Covid list. Good call by me.
