They beat Notre Dame and Houston, which by the rankings is more than UGA beat all year. You can't punish a team for winning, otherwise the CFB season doesn't mean shit.

 

They deserve to not be included in the playoffs. It's horseshit they're in

 

I would honestly rather see ND in than Georgia, if for no other reason than to enjoy the absolute outrage of UGa fans over it…

Now would be a good time to remind everyone here that Michigan started the season unranked and ended up the #2 seed in the playoff. I believe they’ll defeat Georgia and maybe even beat Alabama to win it all…

That’s not to say I believe UT can duplicate that feat next year (lord knows if Michigan were facing an SEC slate every year they might not even be an 8 win team…), but there’s every reason to believe that we can at the very least get into the conversation for the first time in damn near twenty years.

I pretty much go by sagarin when it comes to SOS and such, and it's not even comparable. Cincinnati played a trash schedule this year. Houston was 42nd in his rankings. They did what they had to do to get in, but there's a drop off between the other 3 and them.
