Yellowjackets on Showtime is really good, but your mileage may vary.

Lost meets Lord of the Flies meets Hereditary and Midsommar

 

Been trying to get into and just can't. I'm going to give it one more chance. I know a lot of people really like it.

 

It’s not gonna be for everybody. It happens to be right in my wheelhouse and I think I was hooked by the end of the first episode, but it’s a show that is weird at times and absolutely brutal at other times.

That said, the performances by the vast majority of the cast are just absolutely on point. Especially the “main” cast. Kudos to those actors for really nailing down something that is hard to pull off (multiple people playing the same character in two distinct time periods and maintaining a flow).

4th season of Ozark starts tomorrow night. I hope it does not disappoint.

Just finished After Life. I enjoyed it. It’ll hit you in the feels, but it’s funny and just has a “real” feel to it. I like Ricky Gervais

 

ReWatching ozark3 before binging on 4

 

Because they boy has binged watched it the last 3 days, i caught tail end end season 2 of mabdalorian. And grogu meeting r2d2 might be the most adorable thing ever.

 

Brand New Cherry Flavor on Netflix has to be the most f'n weird show I've ever watched. Tried really hard for the surrealism I guess. I kept telling myself EACH episode to please quit subjecting your brain to this shit but I just couldn't stop and had to watch it all. It has probably the most [uck fay]ed up sex scene I've literally ever seen. Whoever wrote this had to be tripping their balls off on some really strong stuff. This show really takes it to a whole other level.

On another note, I really enjoyed Archive 81. It was also pretty weird but I at least liked the story in this one much better and it's set itself up for a good second season if it's renewed.

 

Brand New Cherry Flavor was pretty good, I thought. I like the surreal.

I draw the line when you are finger blasting a chick's open ribcage that she just birthed a kitten from I guess.

 

That was like one moment of a season. You had to be there.

 

And "finger blasting" is over the top. It was a fondling or caressing of a wound. From which she birthed a kitten.

Cad freaking Bane! This episode was a doozy

 

It was [uck fay]ing awesome. My son and I were jumping up and down at the end when REDACTED and then REDACTED and then REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED.

Dave Filoni and John Favereu are [uck fay]ing gods.

 

That was fun.
